What we need:
- Transportation Vehicle for Children
- Sponsorship for 30 children (link to sponsor segment)
- Funds to repair shelter used for the Teachers in Training Program.
Local Community Involvement:
Consider donations to Bridge2Peace and the children of Lunugamvehera in lieu of presents for the holidays. At this time of year families often look for charities to make a special annual contribution. This year please consider Bridge2Peace.
Raise awareness and donations by hosting bake sales, car washes, tag sales at local school and churches with proceeds going to Bridge2Peace
Local restaurants often host fund raising nights where a portion of the evening proceeds are donated to a select charity. Consider organizing one in your community.

Special Ideas for Teachers:
Consider having your students send special cards or hand made art work to the students of Lunugamvehera. They will receive back similar special items from the children along with much good will. Create a bulletin board, or other place in the classroom to display the work that the children receive, a map of picture of Sri Lanka, stamps from the envelopes.
